Everything for the ride,
and the rider.
From the smallest trail on the map to the beat of your heart — here’s everything Navitals can do.
A map that knows the trails
A detailed map in bright summer colours by day, with every gravel track, forest path and narrow trail on it. At night it turns dusky for city rides, or pitch black for the darkest forest.
- Every trail and track, not just the roads
- Overlays for official cycling and hiking routes, to follow one or plan along it
- Summer colours by day; dusky or pitch black at night
- A bold red route you can always pick out
Your heart rate, beside the next turn
Start a ride and your Apple Watch records it as a workout. Heart rate, zones, calories and the distance left sit right on the navigation screen, so you never have to switch apps to check on yourself.
- Heart-rate zones based on your own resting and maximum heart rate
- No watch? A Bluetooth chest strap works too
- Every ride saved to Apple Health, with the weather you rode in
Routes made for the way you ride
Pick a profile and Navitals plans a route that suits it: quiet cycle paths for a day out, fast tarmac for the road bike, rough tracks for gravel and mountain bikes, or footpaths for a hike. Plan on your iPhone, or on your Mac, where you shape the route with a mouse.
- Trekking, road, gravel, mountain bike and hiking profiles
- Drag the route into shape on iPad or Mac, then ride it from your iPhone
- Import a GPX file from anywhere, and export your own
Works where your signal doesn’t
Download the regions you ride in, and searching, planning and navigating all happen right on your iPhone. Deep in the forest, up in the mountains or across a border, nothing stops when the bars disappear.
- Regions to download, suggested from where you are
- Search for places with no signal
- Plan, change and navigate routes fully offline
Designed to go easy on your battery
Your iPhone has to last the whole day, so saving power shaped how Navitals works. It doesn’t need the screen on to guide you, and when the screen is on, it asks less of it.
- Screen off: spoken directions and the Live Activity guide you
- Screen on: a lower refresh rate while navigating
- A truly dark night theme that’s easy on the battery and your eyes
Rain doesn’t get to steer
Your iPhone handles rain just fine, its touchscreen less so. Raindrops pan the map, add stops and press buttons you never meant to, and that’s the last thing you need on a route you don’t know. Turn on the water lock and the screen ignores every drop while you keep navigating.
- One tap locks the screen, navigation carries on
- Slide to unlock when you actually need it
One app, four screens
Navigation on the handlebar, vitals on the wrist, planning on iPad and Mac. Your routes follow you through your own iCloud, with no extra account to sign up for.
The bike computer on your handlebar
The map, your route and the next turn on a big, bright screen, with your heart rate and the distance left right beside them.
The heart of the ride
Your Apple Watch records the ride as a workout and sends your heart rate to your iPhone, so it sits right next to the next turn.
Plan on the big screen
The whole map with your route beside it, from the sofa or the campsite. Routes you plan on iPad are waiting on your iPhone.
Plan with a mouse
Shape your routes on the Mac by dragging them where you want to go, then find them on your iPhone, ready to ride.
